Enterpreneurs Without Borders
Social Media Manager (Volunteer)
Background:
Entrepreneurs Without Borders was a Swedish non-profit focused on building a pan-European ecosystem supporting female entrepreneurs, founders, investors, and specialists. At the time, the organisation centred its work around local “Impact Chapters” and community-led events in Stockholm and across Europe.(The organisation has since shifted its focus toward job creation through replication of successful ventures in local markets.)
Scope & Contribution
I supported EWB’s social media presence as a volunteer Social Media Manager, working collaboratively with Lara Studio, who led visual design and content pillar development. My contribution focused on content planning, copywriting, photography, and day-to-day social media management, as well as co-ideation around themes and community storytelling tied to EWB’s Impact Chapters and events.
Content Direction
Content followed three core pillars:
Chapter Moments - highlighting monthly Impact Chapter meetings
This is EWB - communicating the organisation’s mission, vision, awards, and summit activity
Voice of the Network - featuring founders, investors, and members from across the network
During the summer internship period, content shifted to spotlight intern experiences on Instagram. I developed and shaped intern spotlight content, combining self-filmed “day in the life” footage with interview-based storytelling to highlight individual experiences within the organisation.
Outcome
The work helped maintain a consistent and human social media presence for a volunteer-driven organisation, supporting community visibility and participation while reflecting the diversity of voices within the EWB network.
